Forums - Microsoft - Halo heading to Mobiles?

http://www.electricpig.co.uk/2009/04/14/halo-heading-to-mobiles/

Halo could be heading to mobile and handheld devices, according to a new job posting at Microsoft’s Redmond HQ. The Halo team is looking for someone to “blend console, web, and mobile”, which is a clear indication that something Halo related is heading to mobile space, although it’s not clear exactly what.

If we’re being really optimistic, this could be the first indicator of a proper Zune / Xbox handheld. Suppose Microsoft seriously wanted to get into handheld console space, to give Sony and Nintendo something else to worry about. You can be damned sure that Halo would be one of the first titles on there.

How cool would this be with the new Zune?

Does this hint to mobile games?

^^No, doesn't sound like it. This paragraph pretty much sums up what this person will be doing.

Sounds like they are going to be taking Bungie.net functionality to the next level. Which is fricking awesome if you ask me. This will probably be something that launches with Halo 4.

^Now that Bungie is not first party anymore, I suppose that it makes sense for MS to build their own support web infrastructure for future Halo products.
