I don't get this? Why would the presence of better rotation sensors make games less casual-firendly? It's up to the developer deciding what to do with the numbers coming from the gyroscopes.
If they want to work at 1/tenth of its theoretical resolution, that's up to them. Nobody forces them to have the raquet in your Mii's hand follow the smallest oscillation of your wiimote.
The only issues that kept them from using gyros from the start were 1) the price of the hardware 2) the calibration pain-in-the-ass thing
