probably, but they could have done that before this generation even started... Microsoft never had any hope in Japan.

As it stands...

360 has won NA.

PS3 has won Japan.

and EU/UK is the new battle ground thats going on.

I said you can't play sales.

They do matter to devs and pubs very much, but as a consumer, the focus of having a gaming console should be...  Gaming.  I've had a fun time playing games on all three of the current generation systems, and I will continue to do so, and not get into fanboy wars over sales.  Halo 3, KZ2, Brawl, LBP, Gears, etc. are too much fun to continually worry about sales of games and consoles.  They're nice to look at, but you can't play them.

Well yeah by the time the PS3 catchs up in the US MS would have killed 360 production and the 720 would be out with redray DVDs, cause u know MS doesn't want bluray :P

i want to count the Wii but the problem is its not a HD console and its considerd as a toy more than as a console.

 

That's the problem. Sony says Nintendo is not competition, but in fact Nintendo is the biggest nightmare of Sony. If they could just realize that.

 

They will be a nightmare when titles only available on HD consoles start to become Wii exclusives.

As it is, software wise the Wii hasn't really hurt the PS3 at all, whereas the PS2 totally destroyed the GC catalog, even stealing the one good exclusive the GC had ( RE4).
