Forums - Sony - PSP: The Choice of the Hardcore?

The guy is conviently leaving out that these hardcore PSP games in at least two cases that I know of have other members of those franchises on DS.

Metal Slug Anthology(PSP), no mention of Metal Slug 7(DS).
Final Fantasy Tactics: The War of the Lions (PSP), no mention of Final Fantasy Tactics A2(DS).

That was enough to get me to stop reading.

The story in FFTA2 is really not aimed at the hardcore gamer... But the gameplay? Sure

I love the DS, there are lots of games that hardcore gamers should enjoy on the system. I still want a PSP though, because for me the PSP might have even more games I'm interested in.

All know is the PSP has great audio and music options and the games really are on par with PS2 games. That was good enough reasons for me to get it.

Go Team Venture! I still don't get the Wii, PS Move,  and Kinect.

Well just how many hardcore games does the PSP has? More than the DS? Sure, the aisle is crowded with "imagine" and "petz" but the hardcore section is just as big as the entire PSP aisle (well at least in the stores around me).

"¿Por qué justo a mí tenía que tocarme ser yo?"

I'll wait for PSP2 with better graphics. PSP>DS for hardcores. DS>PSP for ease of backups.

Game database shows 1988 DS games and 863 PSP games. I cannot believe that PSP would have more so called hardcore games than the DS.

Alas, it's the age-old 'casual versus hardcore' argument all over again.

Well, at least I found one thing in this article that's true.

Oh wait, "casual" as it's currently used is a new term, so the argument's hardly "age-old."

Never mind. Failure rate=100%.
