A little "higher" but meaning the same: "Alpha Mom". These are the Moms that "lead" the Moms of a little town in America. Or other said. Marketing people believe that there are Moms that are well respected in little towns and do much (those moms are often stereo typed by hollywood). Getting them likling your product means they tell the Moms that look up to them, etc. Marketing people are searching always for people like that and getting them, because a good mouth to mouth is the best marketing. E.g. Stars, Trendsetter (Close). Computerfreaks (Hardware + Software), etc. pp.

 In te beginning (or short before release) Nintendo did a campain showing those "Alpha Moms" the Wii.

 Just as likely it means that women are more likely to use the Wii Vote channel.
