I know this may seem like a bad thread or evan a repeat thread, o well i dd not see one listed and wanted to know on the 25th any one had events ligned up :).

Well for me i have allready Used 2 floating holidays for the 24th and 25th, (i work from 4:30p-1:30a) and i cant miss the the 12am Releas :) 

 24th   Well on with the greatness as these days off i know we will be playing halo 2 till about 7 get them skills polished for the turnys at Game Crazy. Mabey a lil cook out as it is now pronounced a Holiday.   Get at Game Crazy around 9:30-10  depends what time they reopen i will have to get that time but i think it is 9 or 10. 

12am the 25th.   Yea you all know what that time is, I will be in the line liek i was for Halo 2 some odd years ago :)   i am proud to say i was and will be again.   :( its a shame my Xbox Died a few weeks ago but i have then pre ordered me the halo edition Xbox so i can play this game,  My old one will find its way on ebay as soon as i get it back.

 25th  1am on   yea had to make another line for this as at 12 its the prelude to what lies ahead for today, Ill get home areound 1 and from then on i will be owning the Rat basterds till I get done with the game prob will take some many Hours, But I will provail as i have all day now since Halo is a Holiday I will keep inmy Mind no stores are open and there is nothing to do except to play halo. I figure if i start at 1:30-2 i can finish before midafter noon, that leaves an hour To eat ill just order some pizza i dont have time to cook. Take a pee brake and shower,  Pizza arrives then progress for some online Ownage I WILL SEE YOU all on there ALL NITE long ...... OWNAGE online lasts for about 8-10 hours and by that time im out of my mind and prob getting owned as my IQ goes down from lack of sleep, so some time  AM the 26th i will call it aday and go to bed..

ill be skipping school the 25th of course...

I may go to a friend's house to play it, but we'll probably wait til the weekend so we can pull a LAN party all night.

It won't affect me, unless there's an increase in traffic or somethng.

I don't expect it will effect me much at all other then noting more Xbox fans being happy about sales on this site and jealous people then making lame RROD jokes.

Dual Console shooters are just ok as far as i'm concerned, the computer ones have better control and customizable while the wii ones seem more immersive and fun.

Besides which, while halo 3 will be good as far as console shooters go, i doubt it'll be that much different from Halo 2 side from looking prettier and some control tightning +new weapon or two.  Which can be accomplished on some PC shooters via mods.  (Well other then the increased graphics)

I'll probably have to skip a day of college. When Halo 2 came out, one of our flatmates at the time was a massive halo fan and he took off three days and just played it straight until completion.

I'll be playing from 12am to whatever-in-the-morning and then waking up and doing it all over again... We're working on some new ideas for the review (three of us co-writing it) and we need to get through the game, play multiplayer, try co-op, and write the reviews... it is going to be a very harrowing 48 hours.

Does it release in UK on the same day?
Either way doesn't affect me, only reason i even knew it's released on the 25th is because i read it 3 posts above this. I acknowledge that it is a great series but i personally am not interested. The few hours i have spent on the first game it seemed very average to me.

still, its going to get like 2M sales 1st day or something insane.

I may read about it in the (videogame) news and see what metacritic says about it, but that's about it.

I´m having an orgy that night so I´ll have to pass.
