1. no one was beaten.
2. that bitch continually violated his personal space when he was being swarmed by the other "protesters"

1. please watch the videos closely, you can clearly see.
2. violating personal space is good reason to beat people now? sounds like the same mentality as a school bully to me.

3. the video you posted earlier wasnt the one i linked to, just so people are aware of that.

he hit him with the baton and pushed him to get him out of the way.  that isnt a beating.  the other cop repeatedly tried to protect himself from multiple "protesters" using progressively more serious means and even tried backing up to provide space between them.   she was the aggressor.

if the officer wanted him to move, he should have asked and if neccesary pushed him gently, there was no need to beat him and shove him to the floor.

the other guy slapped a woman and then hit her with a baton, she only swore at him, dont really see the justification.

yeah...i guess in your reality continually acting agressively towards a cop is peaceful behaviour.

you know what...actually...she was beating him.   you could clearly see it.  please watch the video again very closely.

Still looks like a justified limited use of force by the police against an aggresive protestor. They were obviously light taps, as a cop his size could have easily layed her out with one hit.

not really, its like saying that its ok for a man to beat his wife, so long as it dosent kill her, its still assult, just non fatal.

It's not even close to the same thing.

Yet, today, America's leaders are reenacting every folly that brought these great powers [Russia, Germany, and Japan] to ruin -- from arrogance and hubris, to assertions of global hegemony, to imperial overstretch, to trumpeting new 'crusades,' to handing out war guarantees to regions and countries where Americans have never fought before. We are piling up the kind of commitments that produced the greatest disasters of the twentieth century.

really? your saying that its ok for a policemen to hit a protester because he isnt hitting her as hard as he could, it seems like the same thing to me, i mean, if the legal system worked like that, then no-one would go to jail, as the defendant could just say "i could have done worse"

The backhand is understandable and possibly justifiable. Immediately before he backhanded her, she moved towards him quickly and seemingly agressively. Striking her with the truncheon, however, was not justified.

if you quit ignoring what was said, you would realize how rediculous your comments are and you would stop repeating them and have an actual discussion.  talking to you is about as bad as trying to have a discussion with that seal freak.  both of you continuously ignore everything and just repeat your deluded view over and over again.  these people were not beat. a hit and push are not a beating.  i showed posted a video with real police brutality where they beat someone.   someone repeatedly trying to get away from an agressive person and lashes out in self defense using more serious means of defense because the person keeps coming at them is not a beating.

he should just have pushed her away (gently if possible) backhanding her is more offensive than defensive imo.

she moved towards him quickly and seemingly agressively

That earned her a strike with the truncheon. She should have been arrested at that point.
