Forums - General - Police Brutatlity?

1. no one was beaten.
2. that bitch continually violated his personal space when he was being swarmed by the other "protesters".  the officer defended himself and tried to put more space between them.  she was a threat to his safety and the safety of the other officers.

I wonder why it seems that the people who are on the left of the political scale are the ones that favor attacking police?

btw...that video doesnt show them beating him.

it shows them striking him with a baton, what do you classify as a beating?

I'd really love to show you.......

simmer down, guy.  Somehow I doubt that you and Scifi are on such good terms that you should be joking about such things with him, and therefore I would be forced to take that as a malicious post.

Oh I definately don't favor attacking the police, I think they deserve a whole lot of respect for what they do.

However swearing at a police man doesn't deserve you a backhand and a whack with a baton. Thats just a policeman going well beyond his rights, as I said its assault and its illegal.

I'm glad the policeman was suspended, shows that the UK is willing to deal with the few people who give the police a bad name.

1. please watch the videos closely, you can clearly see.
2. violating personal space is good reason to beat people now? sounds like the same mentality as a school bully to me.

3. the video you posted earlier wasnt the one i linked to, just so people are aware of that.

Inb4 "it is not the policeman that is brutal to the woman, it's the baton"

Still looks like a justified limited use of force by the police against an aggresive protestor. They were obviously light taps, as a cop his size could have easily layed her out with one hit.

Yet, today, America's leaders are reenacting every folly that brought these great powers [Russia, Germany, and Japan] to ruin -- from arrogance and hubris, to assertions of global hegemony, to imperial overstretch, to trumpeting new 'crusades,' to handing out war guarantees to regions and countries where Americans have never fought before. We are piling up the kind of commitments that produced the greatest disasters of the twentieth century.

not really, its like saying that its ok for a man to beat his wife, so long as it dosent kill her, its still assult, just non fatal.
