Am I the only one that fantasizes about flying on outer space and seeing stuff like this?

It's a shame that if you were even capable of traveling there instantly, nothing would be the same as we observe it from earth.  A majority of these celestial bodies we are observing are billions of years old (i.e. probably before earth was formed).

it would be rather interesting traveling towards these things and watching them change.

I actually find that the more intriguing thing about space.  The fact that what we are looking at his actually history or the past.  I find the idea that a majority of outerspace is more unknown then anyone could imagine very exciting.

The photos are photoshopped by NASA.... On serious note they are kind of interesting photos. I think other photos are probably more amazing than photos that look familiar.

Yeah, I've seen a lot of amazing photos from outer space. It makes you humble.

Are they?

I assumed they were just exteremly long exposures taken over a few weeks of one section of sky. That's why that were so good.

^nah I was bullshitting about them being photoshopped.

Not exactly true.  They are altered from the originals.  The original exposures do not come in those colors.  They have been modifed slightly.

Note: I'm going off of this by memory, but I may be mistaken as I have no proof right now.
