Wow, so by you logic any car that is SPONSORED by GT is a GT branded vehicle? thats an extremely ignorant stance to take. Also your preciouses"branded" GTR was first produced in 1969 and as such has no affiliation with the video game which was published in 1997. So no, you really don't have cars.
It really sucks gran turismo is such a great game and series for that matter i love prolouge but i really doubt it will sell over 6million just because there is forza 3 probably will it and nfs shift will be out at about the same time but beating it. Yes these games are not as realistic or as good but aparently being great for realism doesn't matter any more look at the console war the xbox360 is killing the ps3 here in NA but its built like crap and costs a lot more in the long run with peripherals and online just less upfront but you couldn't invite friends as easy or figure out how to get online as easy with the ps3 as the 360 espically in the begining. This being said it really doesn't have a chance of hitting 3million with a price drop and bundles at the same time meaning 299.99 with gt5 launch. What other game sold that much on the ps3 none i thought mgs4 or killzone would have huge numbers mainly killzone but killzone doesn't have a wide range appeal like halo. How many people can have a 5 plus kill spread in halo a ton how many people actually have beatin the entire game of gt4 very few. Xbox may suck to people who really like challenging games and realism but its good enough for most.

the new one is!, i haven't said anything about, the cars were designed with the help of polyphony.
so we do have cars.
@Jo21
Well, if you just count the US and forget about the rest of the planet, you have a point. X360 owners seem to be more fanatical about helping MS no matter what. So, count on Forza 3 to sell big in the US.
The GT development team were given the responsibility of designing the new in car monitor called the "multifunction meter" for the new Nissan GT-R. At the Press Preview of the 40th Tokyo Motor Show 2007 it was unveiled that the GT development team at Polyphony Digital were given the responsibility of planning and designing the new in car monitor called the "multifunction meter" for the new model GT-R. Nissan declared "We believe that this is the world's first device that allows the car to tell the driver about the condition of the car” and that the reason for the collaboration with GT was “because this is a medium that allows a connection between the real and the virtual. I tried driving the new model GT-R in GT, and was surprised at how it felt exactly like the sensation of driving the GT-R in real life."

Well well well, it would seem that (as I suspected) the car itself was NOT designed by polyphony, rather the dashboard was. This was obviously more of a marketing ploy on the part of Nissan.

emember that we reported on the Nissan GT-R for which "Polyphony Digital was commissioned to design the multifunction display"? Well, now Citroen has now unveiled its own Gran Turismo and Polyphony Digital concept car at the Paris Motorshow.
According to Just-Auto, the French auto-maker, claims that its GTbyCitroen concept car "is the first ever car to be specifically designed to bring the virtual and real worlds together".
We're not sure what that means - but we sure hope that ace driving star, Carl Edwards, doesn't get anywhere near it.
The site also quotes Polyphony Digital's Kazanori Yamauchi, as follows,"To see the [concept] take shape in our game studios and then for real has been a truly unique experience - as our work normally stays in the digital world."
then we have the citroen.

Sorry, but that is a concept car, not a production car, try again.

Is this suppose to be meaningful in some way?
