Well ignorance in international relations definately is not an answer, world should do something to help somalia Stabilise, ignoring it will only fuel the problem.
World did ignore Rwanda Crisis or Second Congo War and millions of people have perished. And that could've been stopped. People complain about entering Iraq when in those countries attrocities were commited on ridicilous scale and no one did anything.
When other countries had their ships held for ransom, they simply paid the ransom. But when an American ship gets held for ransom, LET'S FUCKIN' INVADE THEM!!! Somalian pirates are a threat to worldwide interest, and just because America has the largest military budget doesn't mean we should have to everything everywhere.

Obama made the right decision to order the hit of those pirates via SEALS. A larger Naval presence in those waters will help to deter and send a message to them in the long run.
I'm going in the Navy this summer and honestly can't wait to get in on some of this action.
Well if you want the combined navies of the world to actually be able to do something in Somalia the laws of the sea will have to be relaxed. Currently I believe they legally have the check their papers before they can engage a pirate vessel. Thats just not going to work.
