Forums - Sony - Recommend me some good PSP jrpgs

Tales of Eternia and Breath of Fire III are both very good JRPGs that are available in Europe.

Too bad that they are nowhere to be found. :P

I actually really enjoyed the stories in the Legend of Heroes series. If you can get by the sorta weak battle system, they have a lot of fun, good-hearted story depth.  That, and you can save anywhere, and that's HUGE for me.

Brave Story is also a lot of fun, for the same reason, but the battle system, although not super interesting, is somehow more palatable than Legend of Heroes.

Stay away from Astonishia Story at all costs. Its just as bad as all the reviewers said it was. I gambled, because I disagreed with the general critical opinion of Legend of Heroes, and lots of RPG reviews in general, but they were spot on with giving Astonishia Story bad marks.

final fantasy tactics: the war of the lions. tactical RPG with engaging story

Brave Story isn't available in Europe. The same thing goes to Jeanne D'Arc. But you can import them.. PSP is fortunately region free.

Really? I actually found Tales of Eternia in a New Zealand airport of all places.
