Come on now, Orge Battle is awesome. But that's a pretty weak excuse to ignore something you haven't played.

Ogre Battle looks worse than this? I really don't think so. The new Vandal Hearts looks like some Nick Toons or Cartoon Network bullshit.

I have a sneaking suspicion it was actually a Bratz SRPG to begin with but even THQ wouldn't touch its hideousness and dropped it like a hot potato.

They're about even.

That's not Ogre Battle, that's Tactics Ogre. Two completely different games.

Not to mention that screen doesn't hurt my eyes like the Vandal Hearts screen does.

Tactics Ogre wins.

It's kind of sad that the 3D backgrounds in Vandal Hearts 2 look better than the new game...

The Ogre games have better artistic direction than all Vandal Hearts games. I didn't love the visual artistic design of the Vandal Hearts games, but I did enjoy the story, characters, music and gameplay.
