well, I'm lvling up and upgrading stuff and making money etcetc(cooking, finding and buying mats, blahblah) so it does have the RPG system, and battles are also random encounters.

I also dont consider those random battles. Random battles pop in an annoying random places. These battles appear when your scrolling through the battlefield basically.

I didnt even know there were two different stages. Im pretty damn sure I chose the main adventure mode though since I got the whole map, boss towns, npc, etc.

Nice summary. This is one of those games I'd purchase even if the game play was total junk. It just looks awesome! Hopefully localization will be smooth.

This game is on my list as a true must have.
Vanillaware own studio name is so misleading :P

The game sounds like another pure piece of fantastic art with amazing gameplay.
