MGS hands down lol didn't kojima say without MGS there would not be a splinter cell
He invented the genre in gaming lol Ubisoft just copied although admittedly it was a very good iteration.
plot wise MGS no questions asked.
splinter cell is no slouch either though specially game play
Splinter Cell
Boys play MGS because they want to be men.
Men play Splinter Cell because they want to be gods.
Tease.
Metal Gear has better characters, more memorable story, cooler weapons, and more accessible gameplay.
Splinter Cell is more realistic and serious. Up until MGS4, Splinter Cell had arguably better graphics. I see it like this:
Better stealth game: Splinter Cell
Better Video Game: Metal Gear Solid
Squilliam still on them fanboy pills lol
the original always.......always pawns the copy lol
mgs easily, but splinter cell is still an amazing franchise.
just because its not as good as mgs doesnt mean its not worth playing i really want to try conviction im hoping they stay true to the series.
...not much time to post anymore, used to be awesome on here really good fond memories from VGchartz...

In that case, I'll change my answer to this:
Stealth goes to Splinter Cell
Story goes to Splinter Cell
I have never seen a more cheesy story in a game this side of a B list JRPG. Though the MGS4 I played had good gameplay in the first couple of Acts.
Tease.
LOL?? MGS Series vs Splinter cell series is as = to Kratos(MGS) vs Banjo(splinter cell)
