so I was at radio shack the other day (getting parts to portablize a 2600, again) and I saw that psp's were on a pretty deep clearance for the 2000 entertainment pack, they were US$140, and I thought that's a great deal, but I already have a perfectly fine old model,

then I noticed their was an openned box unit for a mere 85 dollars, so needless to say I bought it immediately as it was too good of a deal to pass up.  Now I"m thinking about picking up a/v out cable for it but I've read that the composite cables can't output games and component cables are nessicary.

Can anyone confirm the truthfullness of this?

yeah I am, the manual was the only thing that didn't come with it and I'd like to know if I can play games on a tv using the composite cables

yes, there are special caples made for PSP, just a warning it wont be full screen though

You have to get special component cables that cost about 15 dollars. You can run video and audio out of a pc or PS3 but not games.
