According to your logic halo3 and killzone 2 didn't deserve the hype as well? Or is it just because killzone 2 has nice HD graphics? I'm not saying that these 2 games are bad, but they're not really trying to do something new here... They're just as generic as the conduit.

Atleast the conduit has it's own "alien" language and it's filled with mystery like the ducaz are one of many servants written on walls with "alien" blood.

Man, I even want to take a bet with you that the drudge aren't aliens, but something else...

Shitty preview. You can't look at The Conduit in the context of the HD consoles. Obviously it's going to seem like a step down from what Sony and Microsoft are offering. But most of the Wii audience doesnt have access to those other big games, so this should be a welcome edition for the 'core' gamer.

I find that quite impossible that when you compare it to PS360/PC shooters that it seems cliche and uninspired. Especially considering almost everyone of those shooters are well cliche and uninspired. Yet of course we praise them and attack this one. There is not truer meaning of the word hypocrisy.

 That's not true as it's been stated several times that the game uses a non-rechargable health bar ala FPS' pre Halo.
