My figure for Chinatown Wars was obviously highly exaggerated (I knew that would come back to haunt me), but it was just to show how out of proportion some reactions to the sales were. The sales can't be white/black disappointment because of the brand switch.

GTA has been on Nintendo handhelds before, but it doesn't hav ethe same benefit as being the always Sony thing. I'm not defending the game with an excuse, but if you look at something like Mario and Sonic, the console popularity probably spilled over into the handheld, like Mario Party probably did as well.

I quoted horribleness to show that I was still being sarcastic about the OP, core Wii games don't sell or whatever because it was a fanboy term, and lame because that was what you called my thread. You can be entitled to your opinion, but that was kind of messed up. It is futile for me to say IM NO FANBOY, because that just looks like a child saying I know you are but what am I type stuff.

Are you using vgchartz data? Seems like there should be more then 200. I bet EA alone has like 50 on PS2.

VGChartz doesn't have all the sales, and is likely to be very far off from actual values.

I agree with the OP. Considering the huge 130m+ LTD hardware sales, software sales should be higher. Look at the Wii's best selling titles. They are beginning to overtake the Ps2's highest sellers. That is with a userbase of under 50m. At some time in the future i wouldn't be too surprised if Wii has a favourable number of million sellers compared to Ps2. Considering its huge userbase i don't think Ps2 was much of a software beast at all. Look at gamecube million sellers pro-rata.

Actually, the PS2 did 6.2 Gigaflops, according to Wikipedia. Get your facts right. That's a lot of failed games. Like 6 times more. And that means the PS3 has like 2.5 times more flops than the PS2.
