I think it's fine, though I don't understand why they would have some purple essence instead. It would have been better to just let the player decide how much blood and gore they want in their game.

And you can still decapitate.

I love team ninja games, I just hate sigma. I hate it because it is an insult to the franchise. If it's anything like the first sigma, it will be way too easy. If you have every played the other ninja gaiden games you will know that if a ninja gaiden game isn't hard, then it isn't ninja gaiden.

I also have mad respect for Itagaki; he said himself that the first sigma wasn't a true ninja gaiden game.

So, basically, you hate Sigma because it offers an easy mode that is only available when you die a lot ? I mean, just play the hard mode and avoid the Ninja Dog difficulty. Your argument makes no sense.

Sigma offers new game modes, new characters, upgraded visuals and give us PS3 owner, the chance to play two great games that we've missed. What's to hate about that ?

As for Itakagi, well, no big deal, the only reason he said that was because he wanted to hype NG II and the Xbox 360. No wonder why they kicked him out shortly after the release of Ninja Gaiden II.
