What does not praising this game have anything to do with being a Microsoft hater? I hated Resistance 2, so I must be a Sony hater too and disliked Brawl, so I'm a Nintendo detractor as well. This is all ignoring the fact that MS didn't even make this game.

For what it's worth, I thought ToV was great.

Best of the genre are the following, which in a JRPG account for 80% of why we play them:

Voice Acting

Character Progression

Cinematography

Story Telling

 

An average RPG selling 800k is the most underrated game of all time? Nevermind Okami, ICO, or a bajillion other underrated games, it's the one that was a commercial success. It's really not better than a lot of other RPGs. Vesperia has come out during this RPG drought we have going and it stills beats Lost Odyssey. And then you claim it's the best JRPG ever made? I can't even take your post seriously here.

I do kinda feel this game was underrated cuz you know its a Turn Based RPG. If this game came out when Turn Based RPG were popular, this would have sold a ton and would have been up their with Final Fantasy as in terms of story telling and character development. I hope they make a sequel :)

@selnor, yes i liked your review. i am hoping a sequel is announced at either e3 or tokyo game show. i want more "lost odyssey" :)
btw i wouldnt mind a sequel to blue dragon as well.

You misread my post. I actually think it's the 3rd best Jrpg Ive played. I said the points I listed it on it was the best of any Jrpg game. As I said it has the best VA, Character progression, cinematography, story telling. Please read the post correctly. Yes Imo I think it is the most underated game. I think it deserves the same sales as any FF game. I didnt say your opinion sucked, or made any comments to say anything about how good or bad your posts are. There was no need for the last sentence.

Yeah I didnt mind Blue Dragon. It was a gap filler though. But a decent gap filler. I really really hope for LO 2 as well. Very impressed to see Sakaguchi's talent in his own company. :) I'm also gald that Uematsu joined up with him to. Although he his still freelance. :)

Tah-dah!

Both fail, just because the main characters are annoying little kids. Chrono trigger must be the most overrated jrpg ever. That game sucked big time.
