summary : from the 1st time i saw the tv trailer for this game and the "white rabbit song" playing as the trailer went on. i was even more excited to get and play this game.

graphics : the character models are very nicely animated and the special effects are very well done. the unreal engine 3 does make this game look very good and also is pretty damn smooth. the character faces and expressions that they show off is another thing that makes the graphics stand out in this truly great rpg game. the weapons and detail is very impressive, also every time u put on a new accessory item to learn something  ( such as glasses, headbands,flowers in your hair, are shown off on your character. which is something most rpg's dont do, its a nice little touch for ppl like me who apprecaite these little touches by the dev ).

story : from the cgi scene at the begining of the game, u see how its going to be as a immortal. this game has a mature story and its nice to see them talk about death, and how ppl deal with it and how some ppl go on with their lives and how others do not. the story makes u think about real life choices and decisions , and thats something no rpg i have played before has made me think about in the way this game did ( which i find very refreshing indeed ). also the memory 's u get too see written on the screen are very moving and also makes u use your imagination and gets u to think about what kaim was doing at those exact times. for me this story is the best i've ever seen in a rpg game or a video game period. if u do all the side quests in the game u get to see more of the back story of the characters and it makes u get attached to them even more. also the ending of the game , makes u want to continue more with kaim and the others. 

dlc : the content u can download is cool, the dungeon is a nice addition and also the weapon/item pack is cool ( because when u get the nautilus ship late in the game, the lamp item u get from the weapon/item pack lets u watch all the cutscenes over again from each disk if u choose to do that, which is very cool )

battle system : is turn based, but i like the old school system alot. it does have a nice addition to it, in which u hold down the right trigger when a ring appears and if u do a perfect u do extra damage ( hint to get a perfect every time : hold the right trigger and when u let go of the trigger if u hear a click from the trigger thats a sound i got every time i hit a perfect 100% effective ). also put your mortals always in the back and have kaim and seth in the front row, makes things easier on yourself.

weapons : in the "temple of enlightment" on disk 4, their is a item u can get it may look like a item u can use to make a ring but its actually a item u give to a old man on the old mine tracks near the sea of bas, when u get this item and give it to the old man he asks which one u want too make their ultimate weapon for "kaim" or "seth". besides getting a awesome weapon u also get a great ring as well. btw which ever one u give this new weapon and ring to, have the other one equip the royal equipement skill onto them and give tolten's ultimate weapon to the one u didnt give the weapon too. if u do this it makes u party front line of kaim and seth a pure killing machine.

after playing this game it is now my favorite rpg game of all time and i have enjoyed very much beating it now 6 times since it was released in feb of 08.

Lost Odyssey is from the guy that directed final fantasy 1-10, Hironobi Sakaguchi, the company name is Mistwalker, the game is just like all the other final fantasy games from the past down to the way the menus look, the whole look and feel is like final fantasy the only difference is the name on the front of the box wasn't called final fantasy.

Exclusively on Xbox 360.

Hopefully a good JRPG will come around and people can stop overrating this game.

@montanahatchet, i respect your view on this game. but i completely disagree about ppl overating this game. the reason ppl love this game like myself and rate/review it the way we do is because its a great rpg and not your average rpg game.
@jeronimo66, i know everything about this game who made it,directed ,music. and yes it does feel like ff10, and for me that is one reason i started to like it from the get go. :)

Amazing RPG, my favorite so far this gen. I cant wait for the next title Mistwalker creates. (crosses fingers for E3).....:)
