Forums - General - Should I Leave The Site?

I don't think you should leave at all.. Of course there are always going to be people who disagree with you no matter what your opinion is.

Most of the people here who are into politics are liberal.. the conservatives are just a very vocal minority. You have to understand that it really isn't about you. Conservatives are angry because they have been marginalized in most countries. The conservatives have been out of power in the UK for what? 14 years? In the U.S. the conservatives have been voted out because they have nothing to show for their regime but a pointless war and a ruined economy.

All it means is you are not a super nerd. The super nerds like to gang up on people to make themselves feel better.

Some advice: when going in for a debate don't go in for an offence that plays on emotion (like saying things "you don't think it's right" or "fair"), attack with statistics, facts, and figures. Those are better tools of debate than feelings.

Using those, it's easier to come to a consensus, or, at least, you won't feel as frustrated at the end.

And guys like Mafoo and Kasz are only quite conservative on an economic front, I've found them to be quite/more liberal on social issues.

Be sure to ask the other arguer for their facts and statistics as well, I find that alot of the time some of the more famous debaters of this site do not have their own, and only word their opinion to appear as if it must be a fact. Alot of the time when you ask others for their facts they mysteriously dissappear from the argument
