Forums - Sony - Just got tuition reimbursement for $1917.50...

Be sure to buy "Sonic's ultimate GENESIS collection". Id also recommend buying a PSP 3000, just $169.

1000$ for a 40" tv? OVERPRICED!

Also, 1024p doesn't exist, it's not a native resolution size at high resolutions.

Might want to go do a bit of research.

As for games to buy, Street Fighter 4, Eternal Sonata, Little Big Planet are musts IMO. Also, King of Fighters in June.

The Halo francise is the most overrated bland game to ever hit the console market. It provides a bad name to all FPS that even showed effort at creating an original entertaining plot.

I probably have more ps3 games than you :/

I think the general rule of thumb from the pro home audio/video guys is 3 times your viewing distance.

10 - 15 ft would be 30in - 45in TV.

Personal preference always trumps the pros though in my mind.

Consoles: Atari 5200, NES, SNES, N64, Dreamcast, PS2, Gamecube, Wii, Xbox 360, PS3

For movies and TV I'd agree with that somewhat, but for gaming no way. Try playing SSHD at 15 feet away on a 45ish inch tv, then play it at 6-7 feet away and watch your scores sky rocket.

Pay down your tuition or use it for next semester!!

I've already got my tuition covered for subsequent semesters. In fact, I'll be getting a reimbursment like this for my two remaining semesters as well. But thanks for the good advice.

then go for it, =).

i am getting a new tv as well full HD 37'LG6000 or a cheaper viera screen LCD.

lucky

don't spend $1000 on a tv where you could get one for at least a hundred less.

Point in example, my brother just got a 42" vizio, 1080p, 5ms, 120hz, at wal-mart for $850 and that included tax...and the tv is absolutely top notch perfect picture quality!!

I prefer supporting Sony, even though they tend to be more expensive, I've never been disappointed in their products.
