I bought a 360 to play Perfect Dark Zero, Oblivion, Dead or Alive 4, Gears of War, Condemned, and to see what was so good about Halo.

I really wanted to buy a Ps3 but the price was ridiculous. With time I understood that HD gaming wasn't for me yet. What's the point if I still got a standard TV? The 360 was unreliable with the rrod issues. And still expensive. Too many shooters and most of the games would eventually be played on PC. The Wii became the logical option. Not only it is entertainment for me, (Zelda TP, RE4, the shooters) but for my wife (Guitar Hero, Lego Indiana Jones) and my son (Super Mario Galaxy, Lego Star Wars the complete Saga, Rayman). Besides it is fun to play with friends (Wii Sports, Brain Academy, Super Mario Kart). In that sense the price was right. On top of that, it was selling like crazy, so I thought that most of the good games will be done for the Wii. That is taking too long, but it may eventually happen. It has been a good reliable machine so far with a lot of classic games in the Virtual Console and a bright future.

My Xbox 360:

• The Gears of War "Madworld trailer" in 2006. And I really liked my first Xbox in 2001. + Halo 3 in the future.

My Playstation3:

• I wanted a cheap blu-ray player in 2007.

N64: Bought for Goldeneye
Gamecube: Bought for Smash Bros. Melee
Wii: Bought for Smash Bros Brawl
Xbox 360: Girlfriend bought for GTA IV

Very happy with all these consoles.

Nintendo consoles will always be bought because of Zelda, Mario, Metroid, Pikmin and others.

I bought the 360 because I wanted to try some of its games.

 But y didnt u by a PS3? Too poor? lol

PS1(2nd one, 1st was thrown away): Lunar 1 and 2
GBC: I got it for my birthday I think.
PS2: My classmate was selling it for 40€ so I just bought it.
PSP: When I saw what you can all do with it, I bought it.
Wii: I liked the games on it, but Brawl did it for me.

Haha no I’m waiting for team Icos game.

360- At the time (Jan 2007) it was really the only decent console out of the 3. And I wanted to try online with XBL, and it obviously had games that interested me.

PS3- I bought it after the price cut when it started to get some great games. And many of my favourite franchises are Sony-owned so there was no way I could not have a PS3 this generation.

I joined Microsoft Expert Zone. I got the 360 for a $100 and Gears of War, Halo 3, and Mass Effect for $10 each. I couldn't pass up that deal and fortunately the 360 gets many of the great franchises that at one time could only be found on a Sony console.
