I bought my Wii for the 1st party Ninty games and teh waggle
I bought all 3 (over time) because they all have really good game lineups and exclusives that make it justifiable to do so. I think if your able to have a PS3, 360, Wii and your not due to "fanboy" reasons then your lossing out on a lot of great gameplay.
" Rebellion Against Tyrants Is Obedience To God"
PS3 - I loved PS2 and I kinda expected more out of PS3 games wise, although its getting better now. I expected a full Gran Turismo by now since the PS2 had one its first year.
360 - I bought it for the above reason. The PS3 really didn't have many good games for the first couple years.
Wii - I bought the Wii mostly for my wife, but I play it sometimes.
Wii - because of it's exclusives. I'm mainly a PC gamer so I didn't see any reason to get a relatively high priced HD console. Oh yeah and smash.
DS - it's a gameboy.
For my newer consoles:
Wii- The Wii Virtual Console. If I were to buy it more recently instead, it'll be because of the Wii's growing amount of great 1st & 3rd party games. Brand loyalty.
DS- Again, Brand loyalty. Bought it soon after launch thinking it will have a lot
of great games later on & I was right.
I LIKE REDMOON ONLINE. IT'S TEH MOST AWESOMEST MMORPG. RUNESCAPE HAS NOTHING ON IT. ;) My full Videogame collection (Well, not really that full): http://www.backloggery.com/marktheshark I'LL COOL YOUR ANGER WITH AN ICE SPIRIT BLAST!!!!111111!!!!!!111!!!!1!!!
