Reign of Terror British style?

That's France

Yes, believe it or not I actually managed to ascertain that the French Revolution occurred in France.  I doubt it would have been possible, though, had I not studied it four seperate times throughout my schooling.

See the bolded.

In case that wasn't clear, I'll spell it out even more clearly: I was suggesting that those adds are reminiscent of the Reign of Terror where French citizens were encouraged to report neighbors for anything suspicious.  People ended up reporting whoever they didn't like with or without evidence, and a lot of innocent lives were killed.  My adding "British style" at the end suggests that those adds are like a British version of the Reign of Terror.

i hope that baby is a terrorist and kills blows up parliment, now that would be irony for ya!

I don't believe any of it, you're far more likely to die driving your own car or getting knocked down by some drunk driver than you are in a terrorist attack.

Don't believe any of it, it's just what your government wants you to believe and giving them that sort of power is what you should really be fearful of!

The fact is, only a small percentage of people know/understand this.

Meanwhile, the people that know this are too lazy to do anything.

I don't know if I should say this and feel free to remove it mods if you think it will worry some people because of course I don't want to scare anyone, but a friend of mine who works for a major UK airline has just told me in the last 30 mins that tonight along with the other crew members he was informed an attack is 'imminent' and airlines are 1 level  away from being grounded in the UK.

But again I told him I don't believe the danger is any more than getting in your own car and driving a mile down the road...but let's see what becomes of this 'imminent' danger...

The sentiment is right... but that movie is stupid, unsourced and sensationalist. How about advocating freethought rather than an eequally extreme viewpoint to the one you're trying to discredit. I too think governments are too concerned with terrorism but it's not a conspiracy, it's due to incompetence and irrational fear.

So a person simply being curious could be labeled a terrorist if someone else doesn't understand why they are doing something? I would hope it would take more than a person just looking at one camera or even a few cameras before assuming that that person is going to do something illegal.
