Forums - Gaming - Reccommend me some DS games please?

And again no mention of Advance Wars.

If there any better option for newbies to get into tactical wargaming? If there more addicting turn-based game? If there any other turn-based tactics that being praised by Julian Gollop himself (X-COM, Rebellstar, Laser Squad series), one of the pioneer of the genre. It's really that easy to get into and spend hours playing.

GTA:CW is pretty much the only game on ds which was fun for me. You should try it out. :)

Chrono Trigger DS
Kirby Super Star Ultra
Super Mario 64 DS
Mario & Luigi Partners in Time
Super Princess Peach :P (no seriously, this was a good game)
Pokemon Platinum
Metroid Prime Hunters
Mario Kart DS
Megaman Battle Network 5 Double Team DS
Star Fox Command

That's to name a few :D

If Nintendo is successful at the moment, it’s because they are good, and I cannot blame them for that. What we should do is try to be just as good.----Laurent Benadiba

Wow, thanks for all of the games guys ;) I'll be sure to check them all out.

Good games not mentioned yet:
Ace Attorney series (Phoenix Wright, Apollo Justice)
Castlevania games
Kirby Canvas Curse
Meteos
Puzzle Quest: Challenge of the Warlords
Clubhouse Games (a.k.a. 42 All-Time Classics)

Very good handheld iterations of PC strategy games:
Age of Empires: Age of Kings/Age of Mythologies
Civilization Revolution
Anno 1701
(unlike their PC counterparts, AoE and 1701 are not real time but turn-based on DS, but still great)

if you like old school games, get Contra 4!

MikeB predicts that the PS3 will sell about 140 million units by the end of 2016 and triple the amount of 360s in the long run.

I will add:
Elite Beat Agents
Picross
Professor Layton
Rhythm Heaven
Trauma Centre
Rune Factory
The World Ends With You
Hotel Dusk

Actually, this covers most of the games I would've recommended except for the Phoenix Wright games. You'll probably want to look into most of them first to make sure they fit your taste in games though.
