A few countries would disagree.

Like France, Italy, Oman, San Marino to name a few i can remember.

The problem with Universal Healthcare is that once it's in... it's there for good.

So if you don't craft yoruself a good effective plan that's going to work for your country in the long run.  Your doing more harm then good by pushing it through in a half baked fashion.

NHS would not work in the US.  It's too large.

NHS has problems in the UK which has a really dense population.

Mafoo doesn't disagree with you there.

The rich pay the most under a flat tax.

Progressive taxation is nothing but discrimination though.  People will argue that it's justified, but it's discrimination none the less... and some people are against discrimination in any form.

Some people believe that everyone should be treated equally.

The UK is running efficiently and has being doing so for decades. GDP per capita is now higher than ever. From what I remember, we recently passed the Germans! This shows us that Free Universal Healthcare is indeed compatible with economical growth.

It's not health expenditure that will make or break a nation. The important thing is cheap access to resources. In our time: Oil, Gas etc. The European Union will do it right.

No worries. EU will be in control of the situation. Europe's future looks even brighter!
