Forums - Sony - Final Fantasy 7 International now up on Japan & Asian PS Store

This is really good news for me. What is different with the international?

Around the Network

About the remake, Kitase said that he is interested in it, and said that he would want to do it properly, which to me says a full remake

I got that from the final page of the OPM feature, which was removed from the mag, but I can't find the scan of it that I read last night

FF7 International is the re-release of FF7 with some additional features.

Sadly, nothing to do with a localized version.

They will know Helgan belongs to Helghasts

I am glad to see this, hope this comes to EU. The 2nd cd of my original copy is damaged

is the one from Asian HK store in English or Japanese?

The International version is just the US version with Japanese text. The US version got extra stuff so they decided to rerelease it in Japan with all the extra stuff.

I thought it got the bonus EU content like Dark Aeons and Pennance, I didn't think those were in the US version? Hopefully SE will give us something like this for XIII as well but that should only be a sixth month transition

He doesnt say he is interested in it. He only says that if it was to happen he would want to make it properly. In one of his latest interviews Tetsuya Nomura said he has new ideas for the compilation but nothing related to FFVII is currently in development or is about to start.

The remake isnt coming anytime soon, I think it's time to kill this long running string of rumours.

Thanks, I have been trying to find that again for a while, I was begining to think that I had made it up

Yeah, you are right, but I still think he is giving a hint something might happen, and when I does it won't be a lazy remake, I'm not expecting them to announce it, but keeping hope as I have never played the game

Actually the more interesting thing in that article is that they hope to release the game within six months of Japanese release as they are already working on international versions, but that does go against what they said at E3
