I haven't played any of them but: 

I'm hyped for the games (persona 3 and persona 4) but the "shoting self in the head" (ingame) stuff is almost a complete turnoff.

It kinda disturbs me. I don't know what to do: by, don't by... (rent is the obvious answer but I don't know if I have that option here).

How do you guys feel about this "shooting yourself in the head"-in game, thing?

Edit: Only for Persona 3.

Also, i know it's in the game, BUT, it seams to me as cusin to suicide.

Now if people have oppinions about cuting other people with a chainsaw in a fictional envoronment, I suppose one could have an oppinion about shooting digital self wtth gun in the head in game.

How I feel about shooting in my head? I don´t know, haven´t try it yet.

But in P3 (and this is in P3 only, btw) no problem, people in the game aren´t real, they´re just bits.

Suicide in a game disturbs you, but homicide doesn't???

Homicide too. ("beasticide" not soo much. For example I have somewhat of an principial issue with KZ2, but not with R2.)

Still, homicide is comon in games or on the news, or in politics, or movies, and everywhere else. Suicide is not. 

Don't you find it disturbing that you're living in such a society where homicide is mentioned everywhere, glorified, and accepted to the point that the government even does it?

(I'm not distrubed by both, because I'm fucked up, everyone's fucked up, the world's fucked up, and if I was disturbed by that basic fact of life I won't be able to function).

Yes, yes I do, all killing is bad (and please don't go into this here, yes I know killing is necessary and unavoidable sometimes, still no good thing can come out if it, only more bad).
But I'm talking about the suicide idea in the game.

I have absolutly no issues with it in Persona 3.
I guess it could be problem for children but for god's sake little kids should be kept really far away from this game for tons of other reasons.

Considering New Ps2 games are really cheap around $40 now I would just buy it. Also there allot more gruesome game than the persona series. All of the games these days have blood, head getting blown up the only way to avoid it is to stop gaming.

I thought it was incredibly cool.
