It's not dumb when the CEO of Poliphony Digital and creator of Gran Turismo has expressed interest in bringing the franchise to PC. Also, Sony has been long time developing MMOs for PC, which makes it even less dumb as rumors go.

Well, like yourself mentioned, it would be most likely a spin-off or the like directioned for the Chinese market. The main series should remain on PS3/PSP. Sorry for not specifying it on my first post I was talking about GT5.

last time I saw PC gamers talking of GT there was no indication they would be happy to have it, so I guess rather than a "yay, we get an awesome game" party it would be a "yay, we stole an exclusive" party - which are those you wake up after with this painful "did I really want that?" headache

It's great to see that so many people want to play this game, really is a fantastic franchise. Yamauchi said he wanted the game on PC a year ago, since then nothing has been said however one has to remember the rumours for GT3 on PC. Never came to be but once again, great to see people wanting to play a game from the fantastic franchise so much.

WTF??? Gran Turismo is best selling PlayStation game and it should stay PlayStation exclusive. Sony will make a BIG (and i mean REALLY BIG ) mistake if the allow FT to go to PC.

No. As of this moment, it's impossible to play pirated ps3 games. The only one people have figured out is how to play pirated ps2 games on BC ps3s...thats about it.
