SOLIDSNAKE08 said: there will always be one difference between the ps3 and 360 and that is the ps3 will always have a steady demand whilst the 360 wont. as you can see, the ps3 has been steady since the start of the year whilst the 360 just goes down. thats why the price cut never lasts for microsoft even if they are big enough to put it cheaper than the wii. the demand is already dying down and you probably wont see the 360 over 200k on a normal week and thats VERY BAD, when the entry price for a 360 is $200 but knowing microsoft another price drop is probably on the way and i have started seeing those half head commercials again which tells you even microsoft are trying to do something to pick the sales up, afterall they aint got fuck all games anyone gives a shit about this year. maybe they will announce gears 3 or halo 4 for the end of this year? as a surpirse? |
I think them days are long gone foe Sony.
PS2 the PS3 aint.
The 360 is now a well established console and by the time Sony gets its act together 360 2 wil be out I reckon.

He's right. The ps3 will always have a steady demand. The xbox 360 has run out of steam imo. Everybody who wanted one has bought one and now it is simply a case of people buying the console due to the low price. However, the ps3, at a higher price, is selling as much as the 360 meaning that there is still an untouched market which will flock to buy the system once the ps3 becomes affordabe.

See thats the thing that amuses me most.
It is Always about the future with the PS3 argument.
The future is already here and guess what PS3 is in last place.

Oh no the future is here!!!! wait...the future is here again....no, wait, again!!! Damn! can't seem to catch the future, it's always slipping past my typing!!! OH! here it is again!!!
Dude, seriously...xbot always seem in a hurry to release the next 360 as if that validates the previous console success or anything? Look if Microsoft moves on to a new console it'll be because the current one is not profitable enough for them or they'll try to catch a new market trend. Sony released the PS3 and the PS2 was still killing the competition (and X360 with it until the release of Halo 3 in 2007). The PS3 was released 6 years after the very succesful PS2 and we all know things turned out the way they have because Sony used it as a trojan horse for Blu-ray. Contrary to what people say or you may think, that sacrifice is paying off, and contrary to any anal-lyst predictions (Pachter) that this is the last "console" or "physical disc" generation, it is not. Don't be surprised if you're precious Xbox 720 uses Sony's Blu-ray in the future.
Oh, the future is here again...no wait...the future...I'd play some games and worry less about it.
