500,000?

I'd thought it'd hit like 2 million already.... did it sell like 1.5 in Others?

The article was about Killzone 2 becoming the fastest Sony developed title to reach 500,000 sales, not that it is at 500,000 sales.

Makes sense.

Not really what the title says though... nor the post.

It simply says "Killzone 2 has sold 500,000 units, making it the fastest selling first-party title for PS3."

So... I actually disagree.  It was about it being at 500,000 sales... and that being the fastest.

And likely retail at that...

Well that is stupid.

That's what sucks about bloggers.  They're never reliable with what they report.

If you clicked the link to the article would have found this in there.

"Killzone 2 has been the fastest SCEA PS3 title to break the 500,000 unit mark and it's also the highest selling SCEA PS3 title for the first 30 days out of launch," detailed Steinberg. "So far, we are extremely happy with the results."

Sony are extremely happy with the sales so obviously they are not disappointing.
