No actually. PC is a open platform which includes systems from OSX to Windows based platforms to Unix based systems. The hardware is not owned by microsoft, and windows is only a medium, which you don't have to pay royalities unless you go under the "Games for windows" development.

Fanboys are funny really, they constantly want something, so they'll twist it to fit there own design. The game is not exclusive, and will look better on PC, get over it. You just  want to somehow make PS3 fanboys get mad over all the "exclusives" like bioshock!(PC, PS3, 360).... Mass effect!(PC 360, same with 2).... Gears!(PC 360) in fact most of the big hitters are multiplat, yet you would say exclusive, what kind of fucked up logic are you running?

PS3, 360, and WII are all personal computers. Console is just to describe they are meant for gaming and prebuilt.

 

PC is an open platform, but is this game going to run on Unix, OSX, etc? If not, it's still MS exclusive. Besides which, all those you listed, were at the very least timed exclusives, and guess what? 90% of their sales came from the 360. You could even say "Halo games go to the PC! Not exclusive! LULZ", but the fact remains that the 3 Halo FPS games have tallied over 23m sales on the 360, and calling them anything but exclusive is semantics.

guys stop fighting. it does not matter if the game is exclusive or not. what matters is if the game is great or not.

Damn,

I was super excited until I saw the name Funcom and heard the words MMO. I hope one of the earlier posters was right and the screen shots are for a different game.

Trailer was very very cool though. I am just to smart to get overexcited about a MMO from Funcom again.

The point is....more people have computers than video game consoles.  If you own even a relatively new PC (Like 4-5 years old),  you can run many of these new games on low settings if need be.   What is the point in owning a 360 if almost every title that peaks your interest can be played on another system?  

Why should you get to claim that it's "exclusive"  if a good amount of people easily can play it as if it were a non-exclusive?  This holds true for PS3/PC,  Nintendo/PC, or 360/PC games.

About Blizzards CGI. They are good, like Halo Wars. But this Secret World CGI in places looks like real life. This beats anything Blizzard/Ensemble/Square have ever done. This is seriouslt good CGI. Like I said at times it looks real.

 

lol no way. You say stuff like this about every new 360 game you hear about... And frankly.. No. It doesn't come close. It looks really good yeah. But it's nowhere near the best evur

In either case the game seems interesting. I really like the buildup in the trailer so i might have to look into getting this on my pc when it coems out.

Yes, it is going to run on any platform with a recent Wine version. So no, it's not a MS exclusive.

But saying a game is a 360 console exclusive is clear enough, I don't understand the fracas.

Well damn, if it wasn't an MMORPG, I would have definitely tried it out.

I'm already liking one MMO (Atlantica Online) and that's all I will do, sorry. I don't even have time enough to play as much as I want, with work, family and then gym.



  • 2010 MUST Haves: WKC, Heavy Rain, GoWIII, Fable III, Mass Effect 2, Bayonetta, Darksiders, FFXIII, Alan Wake, No More Heroes 2, Fragile Dreams: FRotM, Trinity: SoZ, BFBC2.
  • Older Need To Buys: Super Mario Bros. Wii, Mario Kart Wii, Deadspace, Demon's Souls, Uncharted 2.

There is definitely more to list that I want, but that's my main focus there.

The best part was when the monster was like "Rawr" and shes all like "Imma drinkin my milkshake, fuck off".
Cool stuff in other words. Though I preferred the atmospheric stuff to the sparkle sparkle samurai stuff. But it was cool anyway.
