That's why i want my PS3 version untouched, i am one of the few that can hear the difference and have a sound system to enable that...

I don't mind if the 360 version comes with compressions and languages cutted to fit it in fewer discs, or comes with everything in more discs, as long as my PS3 version comes with all the features...

No seriously, my neighborhood here has changed a lot, now we can put loud music and no one cares, in fact one of my neighbors hosted a really loud party, you could hear the music 2 streets apart and everyone was cool with it...

I still have the problem when i go on trips though (last time i was in my cousin's house in Lancaster, i only turned up the volume a little watching a movie and the next door neighbor came to complain about it)...

a. a AAA 3D sonic title

b. a nintendo developed game that has a "M rating"

c. redesgined PS controller

d. SEGA back in the console business

e. M$ out of the OS business

good to see people are giving the xbox 360 a good prediction at first people were saying only 33-34 million by the end of 2009 but i wouldn't go as far as 41 million probably 35-37 million units sold but the wii will have around 70-85 million by the end of 2009 and ps3 will have around 28-30 million units sold

well the japan version of final fantasy 13 will come out this year only in japan but in europe and NA it comes out on the same day some where between april and may of 2010

4 discs, for sure. I don't think it will be bigger than 28GB with proper video compression plus 5:1 lossy audio.

Did you just say that? Compression is bad!

 

You know why most games on the PS3 take up so much space? Its because they all use pre recorded HD videos. Games on the 360 mainly use real time movies. It saves space to let the engin do it opposed to playing a pre recorded video.

 

So no its not really compression, but it is a form of cutting corners.
