No getting hopes up, too many times disappointed. A remake of this game will get done though, it's just a matter of when.

As for the date. No ****ing way. They are not stupid enough to release a FFVII game on the PS3 just months after a PSP FFVII game and S-E cannot produce games on the PS3 that fast. Just look at how long it's taking to get FFXIII out of them. 

I want a FFVII remake to hit AFTER FFXIII has been released. Definitely not before.

 That would really surprise me actually, I fully expect this to go to the PS3 **if** it is actually true.  So yeah that would be shocking, but even if the rumor was that it was going to be on the Wii I would still be taking the same wait and see approach...I did on the KH3 rumors as a matter of fact.

My sources say it´s not a remake... just a port of the old game in a special edition box.

I could understand why they would want to do this but wouldn´t it be better to put as many resources into FFXIII so that doesn´t get postponed again ???

Actually there is a rerelease of FFVII coming, it's just the PS1 game being rereleased in the exact same packaging. It plays on your PS3, they are rereleasing all the old FF games above 7 for a collection but they will all come on their original format.

Kingdom Hearts II: Final Mix is coming this month. And MGS4 is coming to the Wii in 4 days.
