I see a lot of people saying Halo but does anyone know a multiplayer game that comes to both splitscreen and online that's more enjoyable?

Good job... now try to find a game in the same genre.

Ooooh! well you should have started with that!! =P

But a better FPS with both great online and splits creen MP?......hmmmm....have no idea <.<

Not a big fan of FPS, sorry. They became too complicated for me :(

Boom Blox. Such a piece of crap.

I agree with the piece of crap part but I don't think that it's the most overrated game of all time.

That title would have to go to Halo.  I just don't get that game.  Wide open and boring levels.  Blah.

The only people that will say yes to that are people that haven't ever played it before or just plain get doninated in it and hate it cause of that.

Believe it or not there are people who just don't like the online aspect of Halo at all.  If you bought it for the campaign then it was vastly overrated.

How many FPS games have a better campaign than Halo 3? I've played a shit load of FPS games and very few are anywhere near as enjoyable.

Either way the best feature about Halo 3 is the online play. Occasionally four of us will play on the same console and go online and its the most enjoyable experience I've had with an FPS game. It's just an easy to play and well balanced shooter that any FPS fan should enjoy at some level. Games like CoD4 and GoW on the other hand can be a much more frustrating experience for casual gamers.

Half Life2

...and Half Life 1, HL2 Episode 1 and 2, Goldeneye, Counter Strike, Killzone 2, Call of Duty 4, i can mention more... Campaign mode is not Halo 3's forte, multiplayer is...

I don't think anyone prefers the campaign over the multiplayer in Halo 3. Eitherway it's still one of the most enjoyable campaigns you will find in a FPS.

And you don't have to give me a list of other great FPS games... I'm just saying Halo 3 is amongst them.

Honestly Supermario128, if you continue posting that picture over and over again without contributing anything else to the thread I'm going to count it as spam. 4 times is a bit much.

OK, I'm sorry.

God, we get it.  You don't like it when someone says Mario.  After the third fourth time it's not as funny as you think it is.

OK, I'm sorry. It was still funny to me.

IMO the most over rated games this generation are mainly PS3 exclusives: Resistance 2(fell short of the high sales expectations, RFOM was bundled heavily), Killzone 2(below high sales expectations), Motorstorm: Pacific Rift(Fell short of the high sales of the original game in the series which was bundled heavily with PS3) Little Big Planet(Around half of the two million copies sold were bundled with PS3), Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots (failed to break 5 million sales and touted as being the huge PS3 hardware seller game/ PS3 saviour), *Halo 3 (XBox 360), **GTA IV (multi-platform: PS3/X360/PC) and ***Assassins Creed (multi-platform: PS3/X360/PC).

PS3 exclusives = so much hype but they could not save the PS3. PS3 is such a heavily priced game console, people need to justify their purchase.

*Halo 3 was a good game but not a great game. It failed to live up to its lofty high expectations and was just an upgraded version of Halo 2 but with a better single player campaign and online experience in Halo 3 was a huge improvement upon Halo 2.

**GTA IV well it met high sales expectations but the near perfect critical reviews were undeserved for the game. I. along with many other gamers were disappointed with the game.

***Assassins Creed was brilliant for the first hour or two you played it but it soon became boring and repetitive and felt more like a chore than an enjoyment to play the game.
