Hmm, you're right. But... I happen to have an appeal to some Ninty and Sony games as well. Overall my gaming experience in last two years says me that 1st party Ninty efforts were way more satisfactory for me. Sure, if you just don't like Ninty games you're would be pretty happy with Sony's games, but from my point of view... sorry, Sony, you're just too slow, maybe next time. I should put "imo" so I won't get flamed =)

Your points are valid and acceptable. The "slow" part you said about Sony is correct. I own both PS3 and Wii...I truly enjoyed Wiifit, Wiiplay, Wiisports and so on......now i think that ninty is the "slow" between the two. They absolutely enjoying the sales they have. They are based on 4-5 games (no need to mention them, look at the sales each week) and they dont saw any effort on trying anymore. They are happy the way things are atm

That's highly subjective. For me this gen Ninty 1st party > Sony 1st party, you may think different, that's your opinion. The objective criteria - sales - core and non-core Ninty franchises are selling a lot better than Sony's.

By your objective criteria McDonald produces best food in the world :D

Sony's 1st and 2nd party games have been about the best games I've played this generation. It's an opinion, and probably an unpopular one too. I think the Final Fantasy IX syndrome is kicking in for alot of the first / second party of Sony. FF9 was bashed heavily when it first came out and people who liked it were flamed. It seems now, it's one of the most popular games in the history and anyone who bashes it is brought to justice.

This wasnt needed.

PS3 80gb model is two times more expencive than the x360 arcade model (nature of gaming basically the same)

Nintendo's wiifit and wiisports effect (nature of gaming, basically casual/family)

Thats sales though and have nothing to do with the OP

With a HD console game taking between 3 and 4 tmes as much work to produce that a similar game on the Wii, and Microsoft's tendancy to pay for development (rather than buy/build developers) I would expect Sony to have a much larger development workforce ...

The real question is which strategy is the most effective?

For the development cost of Killzone 2, Microsoft was able to publish Gears of War and Gears of War 2 ... For the Development cost of Gran Turismo 5, Microsoft was able to publish Project Gotham Racing 3, Forza 2 (and will probably be able to publish another racer before Gran Turismo 5 is released) ... For the cost of those 2 Sony Games Nintendo has (probably) been able to publish Super Mario Galaxy, Super Smash Bros. Brawl, Metroid Prime 3, Mario Kart Wii, Wii Fit, and Mario Strikers Charged.

Why do people feel the need to attack Sony for every little thing they say?

They are not lying here, they are stating what is true. There is no need to for attacks or talk of sales. This is not in the "sales discussion" forum area. -.-
