Is my memory failing me or did they start to include diffrences from game story ?
IIRC correctly Alicia was defending those gates against Empire and Welkin came to save her with the tank.

Well Martha also had her baby in the tank... but they have to change the anime if not people who already know the story would get bored pretty soon, plus the pace is faster in the anime, they only have 13 episode to tell the story while in the game there are 18 chapters... and many sub chapters.

Oh it's 13 eps only ? I was sure it will be 25.

While Ayako's and Doremi's speedsubs certainly were "good" these teams focus more on being fast then on being flawless, so there have been some little timing and translation errors in their subs.
AnY&Conclave on the other hand use more time for a good and consistent translation and for quality checking the file/timing/translations.

Ofcourse I understand people that want to see the anime as quickly as possible and the two speedsub teams do a good job at that, but I personally am a more patient guy and prefer the files with the best translation quality (and file quality, but that isn't a problem anymore nowadays).

I wouldn't say bad really. First off VC's story is slow to pick up, as in the game next episode the anime should find it's rythme.

As for charadesign or animation flaws, It's usual to have apparent discprepencies since some scenes (mostly action scenes) are done by key animators in Japan and the rest is sub-contracted to Korean or Chinese animation studios. Problem is they tend to sub-contract some episode almost completely (which seemed to be the case with this second ep), important episodes however (first, last, and some key ep inbetween) are more carefully animated for obvious reasons.
