Missed that one............
It's a classic.
"This is my personal view, not my corporate view, but when I look at those formats, I think it just confuses the audience. They don't know which one to buy, developers don't know which one to create for, and retailers don't know which one to stock."
"So I think we wouldn't take that strategy. We wouldn't create confusion."
- Phil Harrison on 360 having different models
LOL @ OP. This deserves a sticky.

ummmm.....Im a SEGA fan too, I know the pain of loosing especially everytime I play a Sonic game, but blaming SONY for Sega's downfalll is stupid
All though I found those quotes greatly amusing and providing me with many lols, in their defense, I'm sure they said that cracking under pressure.
Although I have another one to add:
""I would like my car to fly and make me breakfast, but that's an unrealistic expectation... If you look at our competitors, one machine has zero backwards compatibility and one only has it with a third of their games," said by Jack Tretton. I'm assuming he meant the zero backwards compatibility was to the Wii while the latter was for the 360.

You and i are obviously not like minded sega fans then.
I'll leave it at that, back to the qoutes..............................
Another one:
""If you look at the adoption rate of the DS over the first 17 months, not only does it trail the PSP but it also trails their other platforms"
Also, by Jack Tretton, can be found here: http://www.joystiq.com/2006/09/24/tretton-has-giant-enemy-crabs-defeating-nintendo-ds/

@Ronster...
Don't you think you should maybe try to enjoy gaming again? Gaming is actually supposed to be fun. I'm amazed how much people can hate some electronics and programming code. Hell, I liked Sega too, but I like Sony and Nintendo better. Microsoft - not so much.
Sony doesn't have good PR, although better lately than 2005-2006. Some quotes are stupid from Sony. Some were re-interpreted to the translator's convenience. Microsoft doesn't have much better PR this generation with Aaron Greenberg shooting off his mouth constantly. Nintendo seems to have the most level-headed PR now days, but they were awful before Iwata came in.
I guess a good-old-fashioned Sony hate thread, but some of it's funny.
"Naturally the common people don't want war: Neither in Russia, nor in England, nor for that matter in Germany. That is understood. But, after all, IT IS THE LEADERS of the country who determine the policy and it is always a simple matter to drag the people along, whether it is a democracy, or a fascist dictatorship, or a parliament, or a communist dictatorship. Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is TELL THEM THEY ARE BEING ATTACKED, and denounce the peacemakers for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. IT WORKS THE SAME IN ANY COUNTRY." --Hermann Goering, leading Nazi party member, at the Nuremberg War Crime Trials
Conservatives: Pushing for a small enough government to be a guest in your living room, or even better - your uterus.
@ Final.
I appreciate what your saying but i'm simply not as forgiving as some other people.
I do enjoy gaming, my games collection is evidence of that.
you like sony, thats nice, personally i don't and never will.

Fair enough. Not everyone likes the same things.
