Most 3rd party multiplats on the PC look exactly like 360 games. But I guess what they say about the gap between the PC and 360 being larger than the gap between 360 and the wii is just made-up bullshit.

What can they honestly be compared?

Well sure... consumers do it every day... and the comparison seems to quite favor the Wii.

Regardless, technology does not make a generation.  Neither does sales.

Time periods do.

Hence why the Jaguar despite being 64 bit is part of the SNES era.

And why the PS1 despite being 32 bit is in the generation after it.

I do believe every generation nintendo has a rehash of a game like this, it was on the gamecube and the 64 so that is a yes (smg= mario sunshine, super smash brothers= brawl, mario kart 64=mario kart wii, etc, retread, etc)

I think that if you call this gen the HD gen, then wii is last gen. But if you call it the waggle gen, then wii is next gen.
Like there was the 16bit gen. It's mostly time periods but it can also be the technology "breakthrough" I guess you would call it.

Wait... so are you suggesting the PS3 and 360 are part of the PS2 generation?

I mean... there are more games on the Wii that couldn't of been on the last generation systems then there are 360,PS3 games using that above criteria.

But the Atari Jaguar is part of the 16 bit gen.... it was much more then 16 bit.

Despite the names... It's only time period.
