Yeah, that's what it appears to be.

This might be bad...Team Symphonia is currently working on the TOV port, Team Destiny is on Graces, and so that only leaves...Team Legendia.

I didn't really like the visuals of the 3D combat...but the 2D combat looks nice. Hope they have sprites for the newer characters, seeing some of the 3D characters rendered in the 2D sprite style was one of my favorite things in Narikiri Dungeon 3.

Team MelFes isn't really a Tales Studio "team"...some of them are SoulCalibur developers and the likes, Legendia is the only game they've done for the franchise. If they're working on anything Tales related after SCIV then it's probably Sword of Legendia.

Ok could be cool.. looking at the pics it's gonna be more of a fighting game then a true RPG... I was worried that they were pumping waaay too many tales RPGs out there...

I prefer sprites as well - hopefully they'll do a good job on converting some of previously 3d only characters to 2d.

Bleh. I don't want another Team Legendia Tales game, period. If they aren't working on Versus, I wonder who is.

Just read the latest Famitsu article, the game is definitely not outsourced - it's being developed internally by Tales Studio. Anyway, there's some more 2d screens in it, and I thought some of you might be interested:
