Forums - Sony - Namco's premier Tales Studio developing Tales of Versus (PSP) CONFIRMED

 That's quite strange - I though it would be Alfa System, but I suspect they are working on Phantasy Star Portable 2...

Don't really pay attention to TO announcements as a new game seems to be announced every week but does this mean Graces is not being developed by the premier TO team? NO idea about how big this team is but could very well be the case that the studio is big enough to make a Wii and PSP game at once.

Also the release dates will be Versus then TOV and finally Graces, would very well mean a 2010 release for Graces. :O

There are multiple "premier" Tales of teams. Examples are Team Destiny, and Team Symphonia.

RPG, they did say Winter for TOG, and they do have to finish Versus first since it's scheduled for Summer release in Japan...

So where does it say that one of the two Tales teams is making the game?

Team Destiny is supposed to be making Graces and Symphonia is doing the PS3 port of Vesperia afaik.

It's on the slide - when Radiant Mythology (and sequel) was announced, they put Alfa System where Tales Studio is now.

A post from Datschge (he's the guy who oraganizes Sakuraba's site actually...and I think some other Tales sites?) from GAF:

"Hm, the R&D producer who introduced Tales of VS., Ryuuji Ohdate (大舘隆司), was also R&D producer on (only) RM 1&2 and ToI. This ought to make guessing the developer of that game rather easy..."

So it's probably Alfa Systems x Tales Studio?

==========================================================

I hope not, let Alfa get crackin' on Phantasy Star Portable2, I don't want SEGA to develop that title internally. :)

OT, it looks like Inomata Mutsumi (TOS:KOR character designer) is the lead CD for Tales of Graces as well.

Hmmm, I've always thought it was Inomata...

so many tales games.
