Open minded (ideally, anyway) means that you consider every alternative equally and objectively. Are you saying that people who are openminded are, in fact, usually not open minded? Cause I agree if so.

Firstly - Darwin != Evolution.
Darwin discovered evolution but he wasn't entirely correct about it, the theory of evolution has changed a lot in the last 150 years. Evolution has been proven, not disproven over the years.

I know that.
I post that so I can laugh at the people that don't know that.
Yet, today, America's leaders are reenacting every folly that brought these great powers [Russia, Germany, and Japan] to ruin -- from arrogance and hubris, to assertions of global hegemony, to imperial overstretch, to trumpeting new 'crusades,' to handing out war guarantees to regions and countries where Americans have never fought before. We are piling up the kind of commitments that produced the greatest disasters of the twentieth century.

Penn & Teller: Bullshit! has a great episode on the legal battle between Creationism and evolution, and why it is, well, bullshit.

You didn't read my post did you?
Darwin was proved wrong, but the theory still stands. This is what I was on about when I said creationists see it as a wekness when a theory changes where as the scientific community see it as a strength. Evolution is STILL a theory, it is FACT. Darwins theory of evolution has been changed and adapted so often that it still has the same basic idea, but the content is different. We have come to understand it better than Darwin could ever have imagined, in fact we know pretty much everything about it I would imagine.
...And yet theists still see it as a weakness when we have learned so much about it.

You're starting to make the theists look smart.

1. Darwin had several ideas in the theory of evolution that were disproved as they did not directly fit in. But over the years people have found better example to further prove the theory. It's not that Darwin was wrong per se. It's that he was 90% right, not 100%. That's why the theory still stands.
Bottom line - Darwinian evolution 90% right (not right enough)... Modern Evolution 99.99999999999% right
2. Theory = 99.9% fact... same thing
3. See point 1

So, since you seem so well informed, care to explain in brief the differences between Darwin's 90% right theory of evolution and the 99.9999999% right modern evolution theory?

The 99.9999% and 90% figures are misleading. This is the underlying point:
There are no facts in science. A theory is a hypothesis (Or group of related hypotheses) that has been continually tested and re-tested to the point where no experimental, logical, or observational evidence have been shown to refute, or 'falsify', that hypothesis. Science doesn't exist to form awesome (!!) theories for fun. The 99.9999% "truth" figure is misleading, and the word "theory" in scientific connotation should, naturally, carry a significant weight.
I haven't done a great deal of research on Darwin's original theory; but for example, he had a gaping hole in his theory that even he acknowledged, which was later to be thoroughly explained by Mendel's gene research (Which, sadly for Mendel, wasn't widely acknowledged until after both his and Darwin's death). Of course, he probably had some other inconsistencies, especially given our current fossil record and technology, but his general theory of evolution by natural selection remains unfalsifiable.
And for those that think the science community treats Darwin like an "idol" (Probably true, unfortunately), or that he somehow concocted this epic theory by his lonesome: a man by the name of Wallace (First name escapes me) actually came up with a nearly identical theory individually, but Darwin went ahead and published his first.
