It's not a game. If it were a game it would be called WiiGame. This is WiiFit!

I will buy WiiFit, but not for the exercise game that comes with it.
EA probably will make a lot of money when that board comes around and all the sport titles fill up the top 50 chart.
you're predicting sales of the Wii console to double because of WiiFit?... i doubt it very much.
i think the game will do excellently [particularly USA] and i'm sure it will sell systems, but doubling is insane...there won't be enough supply for one thing.

Im seeing wii fit to make nintendo the best company in the world, that new board is so amazing, nothing compares to it I mean you can exercise and have fun while playing a video game! Now we have an excuse for just playing video games instead of doing exercise!, I love the wii!!
2008 end of year predictions:
PS3: 22M
360: 25M
wii: 40M
The wii fit won't increase sales, maybe a couple of rich clubs will pick them up for the hell of it. From what i have seen of the board its just not very popular, i don't need a special board to do push-ups or yoga on, but i'm not a woman or some gay guy so i don't do yoga. Most people in the Us who play games can't even do 10 push-ups so i don't expect it to sell very well. But most people are retarded so it might sell.

what an enlightened post. "im not some woman or some gay guy so don't do yoga" "most people are retarded so it might sell well" the last few posts of yours i have read have been mostly a load of crap but for this one you deserve some expletives shouted at you.

But as i said most people are retarded, look at all the gym memberships and weight loss crap that is sold. And people only use those for about 1month max, plus have they posted what a weight limit is for this thing is? Maybe its fine for the Asian culture but for NA its another story.
If the game came with a snowboarding/skilling/skateboard game it would sell better, but then again Nintendo seems to do very good selling brain training games to old people who think they won't lose their memory. So a wiifit game to fat people might sell well. But then again the weight thing comes to mind for the people in NA.
@GranTurismo
I think WiiFit will be like brain age: it will be hyped up and sell well, and for some reason people will love it. Gamers like you and I will probably hate it though. If it helps the Wii though, I don't suppose it matters if it's bad. It will get new people to buy a console, and may be then they will buy real games, and the gaming industry will grow. So in that sense Wii fit is a trojan horse of sorts :D
also an RPG that uses the wii fit board and the wii remote/nunchuck would be fun
I really don't expect WiiFit to be a system seller or even sell a lot itself. I mean.. Does it look fun to you? I don't really see how this game could be appealing to anyone.. I undertand that weight loss is big business but there are lots of other methods and I don't see people buying a Wii just for this game.
This one is going to have similar sales to Big Brain Academy and Boogie. Its just not very appealing.. but Wii will sell great regardless.
