The psp has a faster processor than the ps2, the psp since the 3.50 update has the potential to obtain graphics as gret as the original xbox.

You mean the GTA games? Well that's true, but average (third party) games sell better on the DS, but offcourse they have to be a typical DS game. Games like madden and such don't sell on the DS.

What they need is an original feature that's both addictive and useful.

Perhaps some kind of built in software, a cheap MP3 store, built in toolkits for making your own games, or a Wii-like channels option.

So they are making a PSP2? Wow. It will be interesting to see what it can do graphically, they'll probably try and fix alot fo the problems the PSP had.
