Money talks, and Sony users are not the same demographic as Apple users willing to pay line up to pay premium prices for the same stuff. That's why they shed 50% of their installed base in record time. It was the great SONY EXODUS

Its not being a fan boy, its being realistic. Sony has a $99 PS2 and a $400 PS3. They completely left out the lucrative "middle" where the Wii60 is getting 80% of this generations sales. Fact

When the 720, Wii 2, or PS4 appear distributors will first have to get rid of the console that sells the least.

Well that's not for another couple of years. But since Sony fucked up so bad the next Xbox might have a fighting chance.

More importantly it stopped PS3 from dominating the market again. Last gen it had a lead of about a 100 million consoles, now its dead last. Go figure.
