It might be not important for global image with UK having more sales.

BUT if you compare number of games made in Japan to games made in UK diffrence is big , and for spefic genres like jRPG the distribution of consoles on japanise market has key value.

The wii is still selling more than twice of both the 360 and PS3 sells globally. So it has to be picking up steam some where else.
