I think people in Japan have gotten bored with Nintendo's Wii series games and want some real core games.

*sigh* it used to be funny but now it's just old...
OT : Nintendo is being overly conservative IMO but it's understandable , they don't want to invest in increasing internal development too heavily as that will affect their long term position , that means they are loosing alot of profit right now in order to have long term stability ( learning a lesson from Sony ) .
From a business perspective I guess it makes sense , but it must suck for the consumers , the Wii will performn well without heavy software support ,so Nintendo won't heavily support it .
