^ The PS1/PS2 were monopolies and many people consider them to be some of the best consoles.

Anyway, I think that Microsoft has one or two games up their sleeve which we haven't heard about but will make waves, not from a graphical perspective but from a sales and market impact point of view.

I just think Microsoft is gonna pass on this year. They might announce a new AAA game this summer at E3 and not release it till next year. I just don't think their dedicated at all for 2009 with their first party franchise and are relying heavily on DLC for older games. =/

I dunno. Microsoft do have something stirring in the pot. Not sure what it is yet but I know we don't really know anything about the 2 projects that Rare are working on. Same goes for Lionhead.

 

 No, they don't.  Only Gears and Halo do.  Even Fable II only finished in the upper 80s.  While Halo Wars was low 80s and Too Human was in the 70s.

Ninja Blade has already chippedin with a 67, btw.

Microsoft doesn't do a great job of making new IP's. They just spend money, they don't create.

I'll give them massive props for Halo and Gears of War, but other than that they have nothing.
